Working With Us

It starts with a conversation about your situation and what you need help with. We'll then explain the services that may be appropriate, what information we'll need, and the next steps.

An initial conversation does not create a client relationship or commit either party to an engagement.

Once you decide to move forward, we'll guide you through the process from there.

Absolutely. We encourage prospective clients to get in touch, so we can understand what you're looking for and determine whether our services are a good fit.

Yes. You can request a callback through our website and provide a convenient time for us to contact you.

Remote services may be available depending on your location, tax filing requirements, and the services you require.

Fees depend on the type and complexity of the services you need. We'll explain the proposed services and applicable fees before an engagement is established.

No. Contacting us through the website, submitting a form, requesting a callback, or speaking with us does not by itself create a professional engagement. If we agree to provide services, we'll explain the applicable services, terms, and next steps before the engagement begins.

Documents & Security

We'll provide instructions for securely sharing documents when you become a client.

For your protection, please do not send Social Security numbers, passwords, bank details, tax returns, or other sensitive information through a standard website contact form unless we have specifically instructed you to do so.

We treat client information as confidential and maintain safeguards and procedures designed to protect information entrusted to us, consistent with applicable professional and legal requirements.

Please see our Privacy Policy for more information about how information submitted through our website is handled.

Deadlines & Tax Notices

Contact us promptly if you receive an IRS or state tax notice. We can review the notice and explain what it means and what steps may be required.

Because some notices have strict response deadlines, don't wait until the deadline is approaching before getting in touch. Our ability to assist may depend on the nature of the notice, the time available, and the services included in your engagement.

Depending on the services included in your engagement, we may provide reminders or discuss applicable filing deadlines. However, clients remain responsible for providing information and taking actions required to meet their tax obligations unless we have expressly agreed in writing to handle a particular filing, payment, or deadline.

Don't ignore it. Contact us as soon as possible so we can understand your situation and explain the available next steps.

Penalties and interest can depend on several factors, so we'll review the circumstances before advising you on what to do.
